VoIP balance, top-up & billing

FreeVoIP is pay-as-you-go against a balance. Calls and the small monthly number fee are drawn from it; you top up when you like.

How billing works

• Calls are billed per minute at the rate for the destination (see Calling rates).
• Numbers carry a small fixed monthly fee, taken automatically.
• Premium extras (transcription, recording, caller-ID lookup, SMS/MMS) are charged per use.
• Your live balance is shown at the top of My VoIP.

Topping up

Top up from My VoIP. If your balance runs low we'll remind you; if it runs out, outbound calls stop and numbers may be suspended until you top up — so keep a little headroom.

Balance, top-up and outbound calling appear in your panel automatically once your account is activated after signup.
