Subdomains

Subdomains (blog.example.co.uk, shop.example.co.uk) get their own docroot and can run a completely different site from the parent domain.

Adding a subdomain

  1. Open the parent domain from Domains
  2. Go to the Subdomains tab
  3. Enter the subdomain label (just blog, not the full name)
  4. Click Add

The DNS record, vhost and SSL certificate are created automatically. Upload the subdomain's site through the file manager — it has its own folder under the domain.

Removing

Delete from the same tab. The subdomain's files are removed with it, so download anything you want to keep first.
