Aliases & forwarders
An email alias forwards mail for one address to another — without creating a full mailbox. Manage them under the domain's email settings.
Creating a forwarder
- Go to the email/aliases section and choose the domain.
- Local part — the bit before the @, e.g.
salesforsales@yourdomain. - Forward to — the destination address mail should go to.
- Click Add.
Catch-all
Tick catch-all to forward mail for any address at the domain that doesn't have its own mailbox or alias. Use sparingly — catch-alls attract spam.
Alias vs mailbox
An alias just forwards; it has no inbox or password. If you need a real inbox, create a mailbox instead. To remove a forwarder, click delete on its row.
