Fraud control (Veritus)

Fraud control is the front-end to Veritus, the signup-fraud screening that scores new signups across your products. Find it under Operations → Fraud Control.

What it does

Veritus screens each signup (IP, email, behaviour) and returns a risk score, so fraudulent or abusive registrations can be flagged or blocked before they cost you. It's wired into the signup flows automatically.

Reviewing flagged signups

• The Fraud Control page lists screened signups and their risk assessment.
• Open one to see the detail behind its score.
• Add an entry to act on a specific case.
