SSL certificates

TDesk issues free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates and renews them automatically, so your sites load over HTTPS.

Issuing a certificate

1. Open the domain from Active Sites.
2. In its SSL section, click Issue / request certificate (Let's Encrypt).
3. The domain must already point at TDesk (DNS resolving) so the certificate authority can validate it.
4. Once issued, the certificate installs automatically and the SSL status shows valid.

Forcing HTTPS

On the domain's hosting settings, tick Force HTTPS so visitors on http are redirected to https.

Renewal

Renewal is automatic — you don't need to do anything. If a certificate ever shows a problem, check the domain resolves to TDesk and see SSL troubleshooting.
